2019

On the eve of a playoff berth, Stittsville Stache HC management made an about face decision at the 11th hour, and ultimately missed the playoffs for the eighth consecutive time. While fans had finally started to come out to watch the Stache HC - even registering the first ever sellouts at the Precinct since the start of number tracking - the flailing on-ice product, to date this season, has alienated fans once again.

The massive gains in the 2018 valuation were met with more modest improvements in 2019: a 3.6% growth in value fell in the middle-3rd of the league. An 8.4% growth in revenue was almost exactly league average. The main positive on the year was the 15.8% growth in operating income - 3rd overall in the league, elevating the franchise above $50 million per year in profit.

2018

Nearly doubling in franchise value, adding more than $30 million in revenue, seeing a tangible bump in attendance for the 3rd straight year - all indications are that the management for the Stittsville Stache HC has the club headed in the right direction. The total valuation still has them sitting 9th in the NHFL - five years of last place finishes, and the accompanying dearth of player accolades will do that to a franchise - so there is still plenty of room for improvement.

Starting with the bad: 0 jersey retirements, 0 division titles, 0 regular season titles, 0 Fifty Mission Cups.

The good: Stittsville Stache HC became only the second NHFL franchise to host more than one draft since league inception, and what an event it was: golf, a league-wide brewery tour, axe-throwing, and a live NHL game to top it all off. The attendance at the Precinct - while still among the lowest capacity percentages in the NHFL - is the highest rate that the Precinct has seen since figures began being tracked in 2016.

As the Stittsville Stache HC management build a winning product on the ice, the Stache brand and the teams' standing within NHFL lore will start being recognized with the more successful brands in the league.

2017

The White Stache HC has their most wins at this stage of the season since ownership was transferred in 2011. This recent success has fans re-engaging: the team's season-subscription base has increased by more than 1,000 for the 2017-18 season, to over 10,000. Also, the White Stache HC had their best season-ticket renewal rate ever--96%. Even if the on-ice gains continue that The White Stache HC has experienced in the second half of 2017, they need to see those gains transfer to all facets of the franchise in order to boost their current valuation (9th in the NHFL). With the 2018 NHFL draft tentatively earmarked to be hosted in Ottawa, The White Stache HC's value will see an increase, but until they're able to gain a foothold in player accolades and overall team success, that increase will be limited.
